in memory of jayla nelson

Jayla Nelson was a Biological Science major double minoring in American Sign Language and Psychology graduate of May 2022. After graduation, Jayla had hopes to invest herself into research then attend medical school to pursue a pediatric surgeon occupation. Jayla was a role model to many underclassmen that looked up to her. Her beautiful soul would light up a room as soon as she entered it. She was involved in many organizations and left her mark on Clemson’s campus. Jayla passed away in July of 2022. Her legacy will last a lifetime as she positively impacted the lives of many that surrounded her.
